The Kid Row is a thoughtfully designed junior rowing skiff created to introduce young enthusiasts to the timeless art of rowing. Inspired by traditional small craft lines yet scaled for accessibility and safety, this compact wooden boat blends classic aesthetics with stable, confidence building performance. Its balanced proportions and lightweight structure allow young rowers to experience smooth glide and responsive handling while developing proper rowing technique from an early age.

Our workshop faithfully crafts the Kid Row using premium marine materials including Western Red Cedar, Mahogany, and Teak, reinforced with U.S. made Hexcel fiberglass and finished with System Three marine spar varnish. Each boat is entirely hand built using the traditional plank on frame method, ensuring strength, durability, and authentic craftsmanship. Careful attention is given to hull balance, seat positioning, and oar geometry to create a safe yet engaging rowing experience. Typical build time is approximately 3 to 4 months depending on customization.

Clients may personalize dimensions, wood selection, finish tone, seating layout, and interior details to suit training goals or aesthetic preferences, transforming a junior training boat into a refined handcrafted heirloom.
